Itching to get on the snow and earn my turns, Trevor and I made an early morning start out of Summit West, and attempted to reach the top of Kendall and ski the nice chute I always stare at from I-90. About 300 feet below the top, we meet our match with some ice and decided to stop there. Turns were a little tricky at the top, but lower down it was fast with a four or five inches of new snow on smooth, hardened snow.
